This presentation contains the general concept of the Airframe Digital Twin. Specifically, it summarizes our collective current understanding of:

  1. What is ADT?
  2. Why do we need ADT?
  3. Future ADT usage and R&D taxonomy.

ADT is defined in part as an “integrated system of data, models, and analysis tools to represent an airframe over its entire life cycle.” The objective of which is “to provide actionable information for making decisions now (diagnosis) and for the future (prognosis).”
